Paragon BioTeck, Inc. Announces Call For 2016 Koch Kellan Scholarship Applicants
Award supports doctoral candidate pursuing a clinical, teaching, or research career in ophthalmology
PORTLAND, Ore. – Paragon BioTeck, Inc., a privately held pharmaceutical and medical device company, announced today a call for applications for the 2016 Koch Kellan Scholarship, which is awarded to a deserving full-time doctoral candidate in ophthalmology. Application and guidelines will be available at kochkellan.com from November 1, 2015, through February 1, 2016. The scholarship is intended to support a strong candidate pursuing a clinical, teaching, or research career in ophthalmology. The scholarship is part of Paragon Gives, the philanthropic arm of Paragon BioTeck.
Finalist applications will be reviewed by Paul S. Koch, MD, and Robert E. Kellan, MD, and the Paragon BioTeck, Inc. Scientific Advisory Board. The 2016 Koch Kellan Scholar will be flown to the 2016 American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery Meeting, where he or she will participate in Paragon’s onsite activities. The Scholar will be formally honored during a ceremony at Paragon’s Scientific Advisory Board Meeting at ASCRS.
